Derrick Scott II
Derrick Scott II, an accomplished finance leader with over a decade of experience in strategic planning and management consulting, is driven by a passion for transformative business solutions. A proud first-generation graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Florida State University, Derrick’s journey is defined by academic excellence and professional achievement.
After graduating, Derrick excelled in General Electric’s Financial Management Program, serving as a corporate financial analyst across various functions, from Supply Chain to Commercial Finance. Before graduating, Derrick was tapped on the shoulder to serve as the management reporting lead for GE Power’s $7B portfolio at corporate headquarters.
Subsequently, Derrick joined Deloitte & Touche, contributing significantly as a strategy & operations consultant. Here, Derrick quickly became known specializing in increasing enterprise performance through optimizing operating models, enhancing reporting capabilities, and integrating cutting-edge products (e.g., SaaS solutions – S4HANA) for clients. He played a crucial role in implementing a variety of disruptive technology solutions, positively impacting Fortune 100 clients in the Healthcare, Consumer Goods, and Energy/Resources industries. Notably, he spearheaded the design and implementation of a persona-based, predictive analytics dashboard, equipping Deloitte senior executives with timely data to drive insightful decision-making.
He is currently serving as an active Board member for Florida State University’s Young Alumni Network as the immediate Past President. He also serves on the advisory board for Inner Explorer, focusing on equipping children within the metro Atlanta area with mindfulness and social-emotional learning tools. This role underscores his commitment to fostering holistic development in his community.
